Our kennels are always filled to overflowing with gorgeous dogs needing a new home. However, at the moment, we seem to be even more crowded than usual. Please help us to find homes for all of these wonderful dogs by putting up our monthly posters where ever you can.

    Welcome to Staffy Rescue

    Hi All,

    As many of you already know there have been some slight changes to the running of Staffy Rescue, with Mina and Anthony Melman leaving us to start their own rescue, we would like to reassure all of you that Staffy Rescue and the blog will both be running the same as always. For the moment, the blog is under construction and will be up again shortly.

     

    In order to introduce/ re-introduce ourselves, Staffy Rescue is now run through a board of Executives and the volunteers, both whom contribute to the running of the rescue.

     

    As usual, business is up and running with many thanks to the volunteers who came out on Sunday 10.7.11 to help us with Staffy Rescue working bee – it was a great success and lovely to be reminded of all those who support what we do.

     

    Staffy Rescue aims to provide the best environment for rescue dogs who wait for their forever home. With change in management will lead to changes in both the online and behind the scenes running of the rescue.

     

    Changes occurring online will be:

    • Implementation of our pre-adoption form, which all possible adoptees will need to fill out in order to match the right dog with the right owner.

    • Contact numbers have also changed: please take notice and change these numbers on your phones. ☺

    • Both the blog and Facebook page will promote old and new rescue dogs as well as changes to the Staffy Rescue team or facilities.

     

    Please note we are run as a registered charity meaning that all donations over $2 are tax deductible.

    For those who have come to Staffy Rescue before we would love for you to return and update us about the life of your EX Staffy Rescue dog. We are always looking for new ideas and people to help join the team.

     

    We recognise that most of our support comes from the blog and we would like to reassure the supporters that the blog will continue as we recognise the power that social media has on the wellbeing of the dogs.
